Saudi Arabia is an Arab country located southwest of Asia,it takes a large area of arabian peninsulaand covers an area of 2 million square killometers.

  Saudi Arabia is bordered to the east by Qatar, Bahrain and United Arab Emirates and from the north Iraq and Jordan, Red Sea to the west, and Yemen on the south.

Foundation

Saudi Arabia was founded in 1932  Abdul-Aziz bi saud, it has undergone major transformation from desert state to advanced civilized state, and became one of the most important countries in the Arab world.

Saudi Arabia is divided to 13 adminstrative regions, each region has a number of governorates, and the number of these governorates varies by reigon, Saud Arabia takes a large area of Arabian Peninsula wich leading to different terrain.

One of the most famous of its plain is Tihama plain and the most famous mountains is Sarawat, while the desert of the empty quarter occupies the largest area of the south-east of the kingdom.

Climate and Language

Saudi Arabia has a desert dry climate, hot in summer, cold in winter and few rains, so it depends on water of wells, eyes, undrground  water and stored rainwater.

The official language of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is Arabic, and the inhabitans of the kingdom speak more than twenty different dialects.

Using of English language comes to communicating with expatriates, industrial and medical fields that need it, and their offical region is islam.

It is called eastern province and its capital is dammam, its main cities are Ras Tanura and Dhahran.

• Najd

Located at the center of the kingdom, one of the most important cities of it is the capital of Saudi Arabis “Riyadh”.

• Al-Hijaz

Is the western region along the red sea and includes Mecca and Medina.

• Asir

It is one of adminstrative regions, with Apha as its capital.
